API reference
PrintResize API
The same tools as the website, callable from scripts, agents, and integrations. One API key runs on your account and spends the same credits at the same per-run prices — no separate signup, no separate billing. Failed runs refund automatically.
What you can build
Resize any image to an exact print size in centimetres (rectangle, square, round, and oval placemat shapes), upscale to 2K/4K/8K, put a fabric pattern on a real table photo, swap the scene of a finished cloth, and extract a flat printable pattern from a product photo.
How it works
Every tool is asynchronous: you submit a run (the exact credit cost comes back immediately), poll the task until it completes, then download the print-ready PNG. Runs usually finish in 1–3 minutes.
Base URL & authentication
All endpoints live on https://printresize.com. Programmatic requests authenticate with a bearer API key, which maps straight onto your account — every run bills that account’s credit balance. The website’s own tools call the same endpoints through the logged-in browser session instead of a key.
To create a key, open the API keys page and sign in. Type a name — anything that reminds you where the key is used — then click Create key. The key appears once, in a highlighted box: copy it into your password manager or secret store immediately.
Key format
pr_ followed by 48 hex characters, for example pr_3f8a…. If you lose one, revoke it and create a new key — the raw value cannot be recovered.Same credits, same prices
Use the key
Send it as a bearer token on every request:
Authorization: Bearer pr_your_keyVerify a key works with a cheap one-credit upscale, or a free poll of an existing task:
curl -H "Authorization: Bearer pr_your_key" https://printresize.com/api/ai-tasks/any-task-idThe same header works on every tool endpoint, on task polling, and on downloads.
Security
Keys are stored hashed (SHA-256) — the raw value exists only at creation. Lose one? Revoke it and create a new key. An account can hold up to 5 keys — disabled keys still count toward the limit; delete one to free its slot.
Treat keys like passwords
