PrintResize keeps data collection small: the free tools work without an account and don't store your images. This page explains what we do handle — for the free tools, the AI features, your account and payments — who helps us process it, and how long it is kept.
1. Who runs PrintResize
PrintResize (printresize.com) is operated by an individual developer. For any privacy question or request, email support@printresize.com — the person who reads it is the person who runs the service.
2. Free tools
The pattern checker and the converters process your image either in your browser or in our server memory just long enough to produce your file, then discard it. The DPI checker and the free DPI change run entirely in your browser — the image never leaves your device. We do not keep copies of images used with the free tools.
3. AI features
When you run Print Resize, the Pattern Generator or AI Upscale, your image is sent to third-party AI model providers to produce the result. They may keep the uploaded file for up to about 7 days before it is deleted automatically. The finished result is saved to your private Library in our cloud storage until you delete it or your account. We also record each run — its settings, status and credits — so we can show your history and refund failed runs.
4. Your account
You can sign in with Google or with an email and password. We store your email address, name and profile picture, a securely hashed password for email accounts, your credit balance and credit history, and the results saved in your Library. To keep accounts secure and stop abuse, we log the IP address and browser type of sign-in sessions and new sign-ups.
5. How visitors find us
A first-party cookie remembers where a visit came from — campaign tags and the landing page — for up to 30 days. If you create an account during that time, this source is saved with your account. We use it only to understand which channels bring people to PrintResize; it is never shared with advertising networks.
6. Payments
Credit packs are paid through Stripe. We never see or store your card details. We keep a record of each purchase: the pack, amount, date and the customer and invoice references Stripe provides.
7. Emails
We send account emails — email verification and password reset — and replies to messages you send us. We do not send newsletters or marketing emails.
8. Analytics
We run no advertising trackers, ad pixels or session recorders. TradeGrow records page views on printresize.com. After you register or sign in, those visits are linked to your account id, not your email address. Google sign-in loads a script from Google, which is covered by Google’s own privacy policy.
9. Who processes data for us
We rely on a small set of service providers: our hosting servers in the United States with Cloudflare in front of them, Cloudflare R2 for storing Library results, Stripe for payments, Google for sign-in, Resend for email, TradeGrow for page views, and third-party AI model providers for the AI features. Each receives only what it needs to do its job. We do not sell your data.
10. AI training
We do not use your images or results to train AI models.
11. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data at any time by emailing support@printresize.com, and we will respond within 30 days. You can delete individual results from your Library yourself at any time. To delete your whole account and its data, email us from the address you signed up with.
12. Children
PrintResize is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
13. Retention at a glance
Free-tool images: not stored. Images sent for AI processing: kept by the AI provider for up to about 7 days. Library results: until you delete them or your account. Account and credit history: until your account is deleted. Payment records: as long as tax law requires. Security logs: as long as needed to protect accounts and prevent abuse. Support emails: up to 2 years.
14. Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or who processes it, we update this page before the change takes effect, and the date above always shows the current version.
